Since day one, “la Hache” has been our flagship board, an all around performance machine, and the shape that started it all for WEST. For the 8th season of “la hache” we refreshed the shape, same timeless look, slightly wider and redesigned nose and tail shape. « La Hache » has a twin tip shape, yet a directional construction and some special ingredients, like carbon stringers from tip to tail and a fast IS7200 base. These high end additions are the secret sauce for this board's speed and pop. Available in four different sizes. The 153 cm is absolutly suitable for women ! « La Hache » is the best choice if you need a reliable all mountain board that stands strong under your feet.

Crafted with a directional shape, perfect for an all mountain rider. Equally effective on groomed slopes as deep powder, bullet proof ice or spring slush, this board is built to perform, from the peak to the parking lot. With two carbon stringers, « The Arvine » is a little bit stiffer than a standard women’s board. The payout for that stiffness is some serious stability at high speeds. A wood core made from a blend of ash, bamboo and paulownia absorbs vibrations to keep your riding smooth in variable conditions. In « The Arvine », we think we’ve found the perfect balance between high-end performance and fun.

This is a shape we have dreamed of (and worked on) for some times now, finally stars got aligned and here it is, the “U7opia” ! We wanted a board super efficient on deeper days with the best maneuvrabilty possible so we designed a wider surface, 320mm nose width for the 156cm, a short tail slightly thiner for quicker turns and less drag. But we also wanned to be quick and precise and fun to ride on less deeper days, so it is designed with a relativly short sidecut for a powerful edge grip. On the inside we put the same standard as for the whole classic serie, the best raw materials and a IS7200 base for velocity !

When freeride and freestyle collide, you need a very special board. Our « CPT Achab » is that board. The defining feature of our fine Captain is it's unique shape. After years of testing, we found the maximum float, thanks to a slightly wider belly, balanced by a longer nose and tail. The addition of a smooth rocker created the perfect craft for navigating those steep couloirs and stomping in rough seas. The directional construction and the naturally set back stance helps you to ride at your best when regular, while the twin tip shape gives you full freestyle agility, when you need to land switch. The « CPT Achab » features a bleech poplar wood core, supported by two carbon crosses on the nose and the tail for better torsion control, as well as our ISO7200 p-tex base to keep you fast.

Developed together with Leo Saraiva, our young blood trick machine, it’s your perfect pipe board for the maximum of edge control in any conditions. The tri-axe fiberglass added with carbon stringer is giving this board the maximum of stability for your carving. Together with the padding all along the edges, it gives you the feeling of a smooth japanese knife cutting through every rough terrains.

At the very beginning of the process, we realised that we didn’t want to create another visually compelling design, but rather build a concept around a topic that truly matters to us.

Eternal Kids was born as what we believe to be the core of snowboarding culture. We asked ourselves: Why do we remain snowboarders until death? What keeps us so deeply involved in this culture? Our answer was simple: every snowboarder is an eternal kid.
